The Challenge
Marjayz is a popular Caribbean restaurant in King's Norton, Birmingham, handling multiple online orders each week. The business approached Rak Developments with an existing website built on a third-party food ordering platform. While functional for processing orders, the platform lacked a strong brand presence, offered limited performance optimisation, and had virtually no SEO visibility.
Despite running paid Meta advertising campaigns that generated significant landing page traffic, the website was experiencing extremely low conversion rates. Visitors were not translating into orders, indicating clear issues with user experience, branding, and site performance. A full website rebuild was required to create a faster, more conversion-focused platform that properly reflected the brand and supported long-term growth.
